Marble Floor Cleaner
I have scrubbed a floor using a scrubber drier but I was not happy with the result. This is due to the fact that I was using the same floor pad for the whole surface of the room. The main difference was that one side was a restaurant and the other side was a passage hall. Different marble floor cleaner steps has to be employed
When scrubbing a big mosaic floor, I always use a soft second hand red pad. It is the best marble floor cleaner. I find a new red pad too strong for a mosaic floor. The scrubber drier has to be well maintained in order not to leave water behind as it operates. The liquid I used is a stoneglo product. As its name indicates it can be used on many stones including marble. It is a good marble floor cleaner liquid. The end result is an overall shiny surface with the dirt removed. It goes without saying that marble is a fantastic sight and investment. And furthermore its maintenance is very easy. The floor scrubbing was only necessary once a week or even once a fortnight. However once I reach the restaurant area, the red pad floor cleaner is not removing the dirt and cleaning the floor properly.
I then used a second hand blue pad and that removed the dirt.This is the stronger of the marble floor cleaner pads. The surface was shining less but it was looking clean and the colours on the whole floor had the same visual intensity. A new blue pad always makes a pattern of a path the size of the diameter of the pad look good and the next line of the same size looking to have a white colour cover on it. This white cover is very hard to remove. It is only removed by time. After four days the hard dirt builds up on the surface starts to looking of even colour again. A marble floor cleaner such as stoneglo liquid should be applied according to manufacturing instructions. This liquid is widely used for marble floor mopping using the same principle of applying as little water as possible in the mop head. Such marble floor cleaner is made of a milky substance that leaves the floor sparkling.
A scrubber drier is the marble floor cleaner par excellence of maintaining such big areas. It collects straight away the water it has sprayed for the scubbing. It is fast and demands less effort. There are many types of scrubbers made by Tennant and Numatic. They Have machines that are following time and its progress. The machine should always be checked before use. Once the water is put in the tank, there will be a need of a suction machine to remove it. And for health and safety reason checking should always be done prior to any work starting.
Floor scrubbing is not as easy as thought.A goor marble floor cleaner is needed. One has to know the type of surface that one is working on and have the experience of working on it. Furthermore the amount of floor pads available are quite numerous. Without experience of this type of task time wasting is inevitable for the marble cleaner

There is always difficulty in cleaning a carpet with very a high traffic. The stains on the floor are numerous. Amongst them, the big coffee stains are difficult. The foam resolve stain remover is a very good solution to the problem.
I have to clean one or twice a week carpets which are heavily used. For efficient floor care all stains have to be removed in a minimum amount of time. That is the essence of "floorupkeep.com". However the big spillage are difficult to remove by blotting it using any resolve stain remover or other carpet stain remover. It is time wasting and the whole of the stain will not be cleaned properly. There was a large coffee mark which I could not remove for three months. I used last time the foam type resolve stain remover and that covered the dirty spot easily. The following step was just to use a white cloth so as the substance to get inside the carpet with a gentle circular arm motion. It was then left to dry. For such a big hall, it was difficult to rub the whole carpet by hand. I then used a steam stain remover or an extraction carpet cleaner for the remaining of the floor which had less soil. In my previous blog I mentionned the efficiency of the extraction machine. Once I had done the whole carpet I then vacuum the area where the resolve stain remover was applied. In order to even up the look of the whole future, I then used the carpet cleaning machine on that area. The result is a carpet with its true colour. This means the big dark yellow has disappeared.The resolve stain remover has worked perfectly. My idea was that since it is for high traffic areas, it should also be good for old large coffee stains. However it is always best to clean any dirty spot as soon as possible. The carpet should be daily clean and sticky gum removed. That is to make any future carpet maintenance easy and effective.
It goes without saying that the foam resolve stain remover has made the area as I never thought it would look. This resolve stain remover' s function of high traffic cleaner should not be forgotten. I was quite satisfied with it.

I went to work one day this week and found that someone left the tap of a plugged sink running overnight. The result was the damage of the floor and obviously the ceiling of the room below. The immediate solution after the tap was turned offf was to remove the water from the floor. The wet vac was used to suck up the water from the floor. Those who were not aware of the existence of what is known as a wet vac were trying to throw papers on the floor or cardboard boxes. That was not a good solution because there will never be enough rubbish paper to cover such a big surface. Furthermore that solution will not rapidly remove the wetness of the floor.
The versatile wet vac
The wet vac will remove the water easily. The first task was to remove any object that can be damaged by the water. The wet vac is then plugged in somewhere safe. A socket outside the wet area was the best solution for health and safety reason. Since the liquid on the surface was too much, the wet vac was switch on and the hose was held in between the water level and the floor. There was no need to move because the suction effect was drawing any liquid into the wet vac. When that solution was exhausted, the head of the wet vac was attached to the hose in order to
dry the whole surface. This last process is the same as scrubbing with a buffing machine and removing the dirty water with wet vac. One can easily conclude that a medium size wet that has a considerable capacity to contain dirty water will be quite effective in solving the emergency.The Shop Vac Pro can take in 18 gallons. It can also be emptied without lifting. Just tilt forward and pour. That is excellent. A small tank wet dry vac is also useful but it would have to be emptied more often. That is time consuming. And water tends to cause damage to unseen areas the longer its left still.
The wet vac is a multi function equipment. It can also be used as a carpet cleaner after having brushed the carpet with a buffing machine. There is only need to change the head to one with a smaller head suction. The wet vac was very useful.

These past few days I have been cleaning many wooden floors. The wood floor cleaner is Bona. It is made for wood and laminate surfaces. It is also called a parquet shampoo.
A Friendly cleaner
This wood floor cleaner smells nice. It gives a milky odour added to it a fresh fragrance. Yes, it does clean. I used it on floor with a medium traffic frequency. This means that the floor is only a
passage. The floor was cleared of any movable furniture. Some of these furnitures leave dirt or marks around the parameters of the place where they occupied. A scrapper was used to remove anything sticky. A new green pad was also necessary to remove the residual left by the scrapping operation. The surface was then vacuumed to ensure that the floor is free from any obstacle or dust. The wood floor cleaner can be diluted with water. The manufacturer's instruction is my guide. The mopping of the floor was done with as less water as possible in a figure of eight. In most cases the use of water on wood is a no...no. But with wood floor cleaner, you are safe to use and one can remove dirt faster because of a more diluted mixture with water. A tool for good wood floor care.
Heavy task cleaner
On a busier wood floor, mopping only was not enough. Furthermore the scrubber drier was not in good operation. This was a chase against time. A floor buffer, a wet vac and two mop and buckets. One bucket contained the diluted wood floor cleaner and the other bucket contains only water. On small surfaces at a time the diluted solution was poured, scrubbed and the dirty sucked. The area is then mopped with clean hot water.This is the advantage of using this wood floor cleaner. Some rooms are very heavily used. These are meeting place or dancing room where people stay eat and drink and dance. After use, they can be very dirty. Furthermore on a week end the floor cleaning only takes place the following Monday. The wood floor cleaner is without doubt the safe tool that I can think of . It made specially for wood. A black pad was used when doin the scrubbing. The wood floor cleaner ensures that the floor is left clean. A layer of polish is put on the floor three times a year. This disappears after few weeks. The beauty of the floor reappears again whenever the floor is mopped with the wood floor cleaner.

The industrial carpet cleaner

The industrial carpet cleaner
Two days ago I cleaned a very big carpet surface using an extraction carpet cleaner.
The result was a brand new looking carpet. The rotary machine and wet dry vac were used on a similar carpet and the dry trails of the rotary machine can still be seen forming evenly spaced lines. I think this is as a result of the cleaning motions were not overlapping and the floor not having been vacuumed properly. The extraction carpet cleaner will not leave any trail. A good tip is to always suck the maximum amount of water that has been sprayed. Consequently more soil will be removed and the carpet will dry faster. A good suction of the extraction carpet cleaner is necessary. It is good practice to avoid using the carpet cleaner for anything other than dirty water.
