Caution Signs for Safety


Caution signs are the means used to warn members of the public that work is in progress within the vicinity. They are needed for any floor maintenance in progress nowadays. Caution signs are also changing. New caution signs are now lighter and  made of less damageable material. There are caution signs which are now made of textile material. They have a nice shape.

 
It is rewarding to be cautious
Caution signs must be used whenever floor buffing or floor scrubbing is being carried out. The floor could  be wet  when using the scrubber drier. The wet floor could cause someone to slip and cause injury. In case the machine does not have a chargeable battery, the wire of the machine will be lying on the floor and cause someone to trip. The appropriate caution signs have to be used. Another information that the caution signs provide is that there is someone at work in this area so that an alternative path should be used. It is therefore necessary to remove the caution signs as soon as the work is finished in order to avoid giving false information.  Furthermore, the longer the caution signs stays idly on the floor, the higher the human traffic around it and more of an obstacle it will constitute.

 



Mind the caution sign
The caution signs should be placed at very visible of the area where is taking place. The most obvious places are the entrances. When it is placed outside the room, by the entrance, it will give enough warning to the passer-by. The process of waxing can make the floor slippery for a longer of time. This could cause dangerous falls because of the texture of the liquid. Caution signs must be placed outside the work area and inside as well. In case there other access doors inside the room,  caution signs have to be placed inside the room so as one is put  visibly at each possible entrance or exit.



Signs of today
Caution signs are also changing. They were being made of metal but nowadays, caution signs being made of  fabric textile are available. They are much lighter in weight and their sights are more pleasing to the eye. They can be folded and placed in their package that looks like a tube. These caution signs are therefore easier to store than the cone shape caution signs. Furthermore some of these new caution  signs can be bought with a detachable flashing light. This will increase the distance at which the caution signs can be visible. The plastic caution signs is also changing. The folding plastic caution signs and some of them have the warning text on all four sides.
